X-ROBOTX Blended STEM classes are a top to bottom program for learning the basics of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and robotics, using hands-on science activities and multiple LEGO® robotics kits, including the popular new LEGO® SPIKE! Participants will learn the basics of STEM and Robotics, using hands-on science activities and multiple different LEGO® robotics kits! Each day will have a different theme, including CAMPING, ZOOLOGY, TRAVEL, FARMING, and AMUSEMENT PARKS. This girls only camp provides a fun space for girls in rising grades (3-5) to imagine, create, and play while developing their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The goal is to help inspire and motivate girls to try new STEM skills while helping bridge the gender gap currently found in the sciences. PROGRAM LENGTH: 5 Days DATES: June 26-30 LENGTH: 2 1/2 Hours per day CLASS SIZE: 12 Max GRADES OTHER INFORMATION: We welcome parents to come back 10 minutes early each week to check out our awesome work and talk to our staff. We will also almost always post pictures for your family on our social media accounts for a keepsake. Kids will be cleaning up their materials during the last 5 minutes. *If you have booked Little Engineers classes before, please feel free to sign your child up early! CANCELLATION/MISSED CLASS POLICY: If for any reason X-ROBOTX has to cancel a class in your section, all families will be given a proportional refund for that class session. If a student misses a class for personal reasons, classes cannot be refunded or reissued for another section. Exclusions apply. PHOTO CONSENT: By signing up for this class, families agree that any photographs taken by X-ROBOTX can and will be used for promotional and marketing purposes, including on social media.
