LEGO® Robotics: Battle-Bots!

X-ROBOTX LEGO® Robotics programs are a top to bottom program for learning the fundamentals of robotics, using the most successful LEGO® robotics kit of all time: the EV3! These classes are great for any students Grade 4 and up who love either LEGO® or coding, or kids who haven’t worked with either before. This new offering will allow students to build their own EV3 robot and customize it into a Battle-bot! Students will learn to code their robot for battles using sensors to detect other robots, and adjust their robot weekly. Each week will feature battle tournaments, and an overall champion will be crowned on the final meeting! LEGO® KITS USED: LEGO® EV3 Suggested prior classes: X-ROBOTX LEGO® Robotics 1 PROGRAM LENGTH: 6 Weeks CLASS LENGTH: 60 minutes CLASS SIZE: 10 Max GRADES 4-8 OTHER INFORMATION: We welcome parents to come back 10 minutes early each week to check out our awesome work and talk to our staff. We will also almost always post pictures for your family on our social media accounts for a keepsake. Kids will be cleaning up their materials during the last 5 minutes.
